Wildlife Portfolio Capturing personalities and behaviors of animals in their environment are my photographic goals. I hope these images transmit the feelings that I had when I took these shots. Brown Bear Portrait A leap for salmon in Crescent Lake, Lake Clark N.P., Alaska. This was the most common technique used for catching salmon, however in many cases it was not the most efficient. A Brown Bear portrait in the frigid waters of Crescent Lake. I believe this bear was one of Sealia's offspring who learned the diving technique for finding salmon. Sealia, a diving bear, is also a territorial bruiser as proven by the scars on her head, and seen by multiple chases along "her" beach. Both a predator and prey, a Caiman hides among vegetation in Yasuni National Park, Ecuador. A Giant River Otter feeding on fish in Yasuni National Park. Giant River Otters are one of the apex predators in the Ecuadorian Amazon living a role similar to wolves in this region. Jaguars and humans are its only challengers. Post-rut, an autumn Bull Moose in all it's glory. A Bighorn Ram pauses while grazing during a Montana winter.
